Approximately two months ago I was talking with my very good friend Lyle Sharman about the fact that I had a long lost daughter and son Gary & Cheryl. The last time I saw them was 51 years ago. Gary was 2 years old and Cheryl was 9 months old. Their mother and I went through a messy divorce and I moved out of the state. My X moved and had their last names changed so I would not be able to find them. Lyle who amongst other things is also a private investigator, said that he has an excellent success rate at finding long lost relatives. Over the years I tried to locate them but to no avail, I was told I didn’t have enough information and I finally resolved the fact that I may never be able to see them again.
After close to a month went by Lyle said he was making some headway. Then the unbelievable happened he found my daughter Cheryl
Cheryl made the decision to talk with me over the phone. Lyle gave me her number and for the first time in 51 years I heard my daughters voice, we both were in tears. We found out that we had a lot in common and we hit it off better then I could ever hope for. All the trophies and awards that I won in the martial arts over the past 35 years could not even come close to the thrill I received from our wonderful reunion. I can never repay Lyle enough for bringing so much joy and happiness into both of our life’s. I thought these things only happen in the movies. My next step is to talk with Gary.

Hi Lyle
We just wanted to say "thank you" for all your efforts in locating Michaels half brothers. No one ever knew that Michaels Mother had other children. It's just unbelievable.
We've had contact with them by phone and email and have exchanged photo's. Hopefully someday everyone will meet.
Becasue Sheila and you we feel that this is the beginning of new family connections and friendships and hopefully everyone will stay in contact.
